Below are the current tools that are available in the [[Toolbox|toolbox]]. All they are toggle buttons. It means that once you click on any of them its state remains available untill you click into another tool or perform a finish tool command (see each tool for details).

According to this behavior there are two types of tools:

# Tools that stay in its state untill you select other tool. These are:
#* Normal Tool
#* Smooth Move Tool
#* Scale Tool
#* Rotate Tool
#* Mirror Tool
#* Zoom Tool
#* Width Tool (I'm not sure)
#* Circle tool
#* Rectangle Tool
#* Sketch Tool
#* Draw Tool
#* Zoom Tool

# Tools that left its state (and Normal Tool state is then reached) after a "finish" operation.
#* BLine Tool
#* Polygon Tool
#* Gradient Tool

The default tool state is the Normal Tool. That's the tool that is toggled to when you finish another tool operation.
