Changing the color of the guides

The default guide color in Synfig Studio is blue. This may not be a useful color for your work, but fortunately you can change this color.

You can adjust the color of the guides on the current canvas using the Meta Data Panel.

To adjust the color of the guides on a canvas :

  1. Select the Meta Data Panel.
  2. Double click on the Data column next to the "guides_color" Key in the Meta Data Panel. This will allow you to enter values.
  3. Enter the red channel guide color has float value between 0 and 1 included.
  4. Add a space after this number
  5. Enter the green channel guide color has float value between 0 and 1 included.
  6. Add a space after this number
  7. Enter the blue channel guide color has float value between 0 and 1 included.
  8. Press ↵ Enter.

How can we simplify the headers, to make navigation easier and more intuitive? We might be able to erase "guide" and "guides" some headers, because the page is about guides. What do you think? --Recycler (talk) 00:40, 7 December 2012 (UTC)

  • Erase guide(s), whynot, i will suggest to change first paragraph to : "Introduction to the guides" and then erased elswhere. Another idea to simplify, inserting "Appearance" paragraph into "Intro" and/or "Positioning guides precisely" intp "Adding guides" section ? --D.j.a.y (talk) 07:32, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
