Location:
"<Layers Panel> → <Context-menu> → Group Layer"
"<Canvas menu> → <Layers> → Group Layer"
Function:
Groups the currently selected layers within a new Group Layer layer called "Group".
Typical usage
Effect layers within this layer are applied only to other layers inside it. Then, the resulting pixel data is composited with the remaining layers according to the Group layer's Blend Method
