It is something I wonder how would it work. If you have the effects parameters defined by pixels, then if you redefine the output rendered size (to be bigger) then the effects becomes different (smaller in this case). Would it be possible to define the effect parameter in other units that are independent of the output size? --[[User:Genete|Genete]] 06:55, 3 October 2007 (EDT)

When I was preparing this page I realized that the big shape on the right doesn't look the same than the same image on the left with same Blur parameters. I wanted to achieve the same figure than the size (12,12) one.

It is something I wonder how would it work. If you have the effects parameters defined by pixels, then if you redefine the output rendered size (to be bigger) then the effects becomes different (smaller in this case). Would it be possible to define the effect parameter in other units that are independent of the output size? --Genete 06:55, 3 October 2007 (EDT)

I've tried rendering blurred .sifz files to various sizes and then resizing them down after using a staightforward image resize tool, and they come out looking much the same. Synfig is intended to be resolution independant, so that's what you would expect. Can you upload .sifz files which demonstrate the problem? -- dooglus 16:41, 4 October 2007 (EDT)

480x270 [2]
That's the sample file
