The rectangle Tool creates Rectangle Layers.
Click where you want any corner of the rectangle to be, and drag to the opposite corner.
Since SVN r1981, and not yet in any released version of Synfig Studio, the rectangle tool allows the easy creation of blined rectangles.
The 'Tool Options' panel allows you to specify:
- The name used for the new layer; any number in this field will automatically increment with each layer created
- The Expansion amount (only for Rectangle layers).
- The feather amount (not for Rectangle layers).
- Several check boxes to allow select:
- Whether invert the create(d) layer(s)
- Whether create Rectangle layer and/or Outline, Region, Plant and Curve Gradient layers (BLines)
- Whether Link the Offset of BLines
